The Global Perspectives Visit Event is offered in conjunction with the Luther College Ethnic Arts Festival and the Oneota Film Festival. Visitors will have the opportunity to see all the ways in which Luther students are exposed to the world, both on campus and off.

Ethnic Arts Festival celebrates the cultures of the world. The festival features presentations, programs and displays by Luther's international students from 48 countries. Surprises awaiting visitors include a sampling of international foods. Luther's international students and dining services staff prepare the food to be served in Peace Dining Room. Following dinner, guests enjoy a show that includes lively international dance, fashions from around the world, songs and skits, and laughter. A highlight of the event is a bazaar of imported handcrafts from cooperative enterprises worldwide.

The Oneota Film Festival will feature over 20 films exploring a wide range of themes, from global perspectives to sustainability to eco-adventures, all focusing on issues of our time. There will be opportunities to hear panel discussions, meet filmmakers, and participate in a variety of festival activities! Films will begin Friday afternoon and run through Sunday afternoon both on campus and off. There is no charge for the screenings. A full list of films, times and locations (available February 1) is found at: www.oneotafilmfestival.org
