This event recognizes our highest-achieving admitted students through unique programming focused on interaction with faculty and current students. Students who have earned a Founders, President’s, or Dean’s Scholarship, or the Martin Luther Award are invited to attend.

The day will also feature music ensemble performances and a recognition lunch with faculty and current students. While students are in their academic seminars, their parents/guests will have the opportunity to attend a variety of alternative sessions.

Scholar Recognition Day Schedule

8:45 - 9:15 a.m.	Event check-in and refreshments
9:15 a.m.	Opening session
10:00 a.m.	Academic seminars for students, and alternative activities for parents
12:00 p.m.	Research, study abroad, and internships student panel with faculty moderator
12:40 p.m.	Recognition lunch with Luther faculty, staff, and students
Post-lunch (optional)	Campus and/or first-year residence hall tours, music scholarship auditions, and coach meetings.

We invite students to stay overnight with a current Luther student on the evening of Friday, February 8. To register for an overnight, select the overnight option in the form below.

If you would like to arrive during the day on Friday, we can arrange for you to meet with a faculty member or coach, attend a music rehearsal, audition for a music scholarship, and/or meet with an admissions counselor.
